Following our last announcement of HIRA for SURGERY, we are excited to report that the first phase of test in surgical training setting has been completed.
A testing session, involving 10 professional surgeons, has been hold and coordinated by Dr. Francesco Giovinazzo (https://www.linkedin.com/in/francesco-giovinazzo-a04933107/) and his team at San Camillo Hospital of Treviso.
"HIRA for Surgey is a game-changer, it lets us track stress and workload in Real-Time, without disrupting the surgical flow. This opens new possibilities to boost both patient safety and team performance" - reports Dr. Giovinazzo.
HIRA for surgery proved to be a powerful and non-invasive tool for real-time assessment of workload and stress, at both individual and team level, with no interference with the standard surgical procedures.
The next step will be testing the system in a real surgical scenario, during abdominal laparoscopic surgery.
Stay tuned!
