Next2U is partner in the "Heat-Us" project.
The project, which orginated as a part of an industrial research doctorate between the Department of Philosophy at the University of Milan and Next2U, combines contemporary dance, neurosciences, and technology to explore the relationship between the body, the environment, and images.

Heat-Us is created by Chiara Cappelletto, Giulio Galimberti, and Arcangelo Merla, and stands out for its unprecedented collaboration between MilanOltre and the Da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology in Milan.
The choreography for Heat-Us is by Stefania Ballone, a dancer with the Teatro alla Scala ballet company and the star of an increasingly recognizable choreograpic career marked by rigor and sensitivity.
The original music is composed by Taketo Gohara. The characterization and use of thermal imaging are by Next2U.

At the heart of the performance is the use of thermal cameras, technological instruments capable of displaying body temperature in real time in the form of images. Heat, normally invisible, thus become a scenic and dramaturgical language, a visual code that records and translates presence, passage, and interaction. The audience is actively involved, invited to explore their own thermal reflection in a participatory experience that challenges the usual boundaries between those who watch and those who act.

The performance space is transformed into a sensitive map, where the traces left by bodies become living memory and the environment itself becomes choreographic material.
Heat-Us will be presented at the Leonardo Da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in three performances, in the evocative Biancamano room, the ballroom of the 1925 transatlantic liner, housed inside the Museum:
October 18 | 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
October 19 | 6:30 p.m.
