Is there a different modulation of high-cognition and emotion networks in Alzheimer patients and controls? This very recent paper, by prof. Merla and his team at University of Chieti-Pescara, uses computational psychophysiology based on thermal imaging to prove that there is a different autonomic activity associated with the execution of a cognitive task, thus suggesting differences in modulation of high-cognition and emotion network.
