A great accomplishment for Next2U, which was involved in a research effort aimed at endowing social robots with better human-like interaction with the interlocutor. By the means of thermal imaging and thermal signal analysis, Next2U evaluated the psychophysiological state of the subject and provided a commercial educational social robot with the capability of assessing the emotions of the interlocutor. This approach was found to be reliable and effective.
