Assessing stress states is vital to improve ADAS systems and to provide millions of drivers with a safer, better driving experience. Next2U is making a huge effort towards this goal.
In the lastest paper Next2U , in collaboration with the Department of Neurosciences, Imaging and Clinical Sciences (DNISC), University G. d’Annunzio of Chieti-Pescara, explored a procedure for a driver’s stress state monitoring by the means of thermal infrared imaging, which was validated on ECG-derived parameters through the application of supervised machine learning techniques.
